Ceramic Or Porcelain
RAK Ceramics tiles are either manufactured using ceramic or porcelain, depending on your preference. Porcelain tiles are generally denser, stronger and more suitable for surfaces that are exposed to wear and tear, such as floors and outside areas, whilst ceramic tiles are more suitable for walls and internal environments. The manufacturing differences do not affect the types of designs for each type of tile; there are plenty of fantastic patterns and colours available regardless of material!
Variety Of Colours
Many of our new tiles come in natural shades, such as white, brown and beige, however there are also a selection of more unusual colours and patterns, such as zig zags and mosaics. One of our personal favourites is the Loft Brick Collection, which features shades of green, yellow, grey and more, all finished with a glossy sheen. Only £17.15 per box!
Glossy Or Matt
Bathroom tiles can come with a glossy or matt finish – and our ranges offer both choices. Glossy tiles have a polished sheen that reflects light, making them great for smaller bathrooms in order to create an illusion of space. Matt tiles are preferred to glossy tiles for use on floors as they present a lower risk of slipping on a glossy surface, as they have better traction and durability. On the other hand, glossy bathroom tiles are much easier to clean due to their smooth, fully waterproof surface. On balance, it depends on the use of your tiles as to which finish you should go for!
