You can see from the additional imagery above why this shower is a terrific valve. The cartridge is terrific quality and in the very unlikely event of a problem it can be easily replaced without the need to entirely remove the valve, tiling etc.

 Our valves feature large European cartridges, offering an increased flow rate for optimum performance. The cartridges are held in place by a screw thread as well, making future maintenance easier.

Smaller cartridges offer a poor flow rate and are usually held in place by a grub screw, making them difficult to remove if future maintenance is required.

Additionally the front plate is adjustable for uneven walls. This is a key feature because it means you have 25mm adjustment for uneven walls if your wall is not straight or if your tile grout is thick. The valve is designed so that no washers are visible.
